About Me

Hey yall 👋🏻 my name is Katie. I'm from Northern IL, Midwestern to my core 😆.

I'm pretty much obsessed with self-care, inner peace, and making paints! How did we get here? Let me explain...

During the summer of 2019 l became ill, lost my job, left an abusive relationship, moved back home, and began starting my life over. I began therapy, and started recovering with painting and meditation. I will always be a huge advocate for abuse survivors and hope to one day be able to donate a portion of my profits to local shelters.

I began Enlightened Watercolors with my own personal artwork, it was only when I purchased handmade colors that my obsession with making began! I taught myself how to make my own binder, mix my own colors, and create my own personal line of colors. Everything is handmade, hand poured, hand written by yours truly. I put so much love, good energy, and time into making these paint babies and I truly hope you can see and feel the love in them!
